There is an attitude that religion can't be reformed without violence. Even Germany's Martin Luther Halloween reforms lead to violence.

The Founding Fathers were not perect ment, but they established the idea of progress. More perfect union. The ability to rewrite and amend the Constitution. Religions try to claim "final word" like Quran / Mohanmad - that was yer 635 "Old World Order" in year 1776.
building codes have progess, transportation safety has progress, medical systems have progress
Why are we do against organized seiousness / soberness / etc of progress?
