Our first in-person meeting... just like the topic of this Reddit posting (long-distance lover over the Internet, which is how I met my wife, how we got married from Algeria to USA).
I deliberately did not wear expensive clothing, I dressed casual as I did not want to misrepresent myself. In my 20's when I was a consulting for Software Spectrum and working in Seattle (Bellevue) for $250/hour billable to clients (I didn't get that money, Software Spectrum did) in 1995...
